About the Band and Guard Program
The Friendswood program is consistent award winning program consisting of (4) concert bands, percussion ensembles, jazz band, and (2) winter guards.
The program has earned these amazing awards:
- 2 time TMEA Honor Band
- 10 time UIL State Marching Band Participant
- 7 time UIL State Marching Contest Finalist
- National Winner in the National Wind Band Competition
- Recipient of the Sudler Flag of Honor
- Performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic
- Winter Guard-WGI Finalist
Your support will continue to allow us participate and earn these awards!
Please Help us This Year
All the money earned will be placed into the general band and color guard fund to offset parent costs and expenses for the entire year such as equipment, instructors, and transportation. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable this year to conduct our normal fundraisers, such as the Small Town Big Sound Marching Festival and Football Concessions, so this will be our only major fundraising push for this year.
Please help the Mustang Band continue to provide the highest quality music education, once in a lifetime experiences, and critical life skills to our current and future students.
